Per our published schedule and instructions, the old servers are now decommissioned. If you cannot access your site, it is because unfortunately you have ignored all the emails we've sent you over the past month and you never took the necessary 5 minutes to update your domain's DNS records. For those who subscribe to our Domain & DNS management service, we were able to update the DNS without any hassle. But for all others, this was your responsibility.

In truth, we have helped out many other clients who are not subscribed to our service, for free, when they asked for our help and provided us with the correct login information for their domain registrar. And we delayed shutting off the server for an extra 3 days to give a grace period. And we offered to keep it on longer if anyone contacted us and needed more time. But since no one has asked for more time, we are moving forward.

We have released a super cool orientation tour that will help all new Gutensite members learn how to use the control panel so they can make a brilliant website, easier and faster. You can choose to dismiss the tour until later, dismiss it all together, or go through the 5 steps and become a certified Gutensite white belt.

The tour consists of a lot of popups that point to features, giving you information and instructions on what everything does and how to perform basic activities like editing your design, adding modules, uploading images, adding a blog, editing your site contact information, etc.

Anytime a new admin account is created, the new users will also be given this tour. We've launched a Community Support Forum for all Gutensiters to talk to one another, ask for help, offer help, share ideas, etc. All our Professional clients have direct access to our dedicated support staff, but Free Lite users, Personal, and Webmaster accounts do not have this dedicated support. So now we're excited that there are more support options for everyone.

HOW TO USE THEM

The Forums are a great way to share knowledge with the whole group, or look for answers to questions that have already been asked. Initially, the Forums are going to be empty, but ask your questions and help us fill up the forums with useful information. Our support staff will monitor the forums and make sure that questions get answered. So for a while, this is a way for everyone to get free support. Eventually, when the forums are more active, we hope that the community will be able to support each other, and that most of the questions people have will already be answered.
