It is our goal to use the resources of Gutensite to make a positive difference in the world. We may still be small, but we are committed to doing what we can with what we have. At the moment we are finding creative ways to generate extra income which can be donated to important humanitarian organizations bringing relief to desperate people around the world. As our own profitability increases we are committed to giving 10% of our profit to specific causes that we can help substantively. Below are 4 of the organizations which we are currently promoting.
Save Darfur
Every day, the almost 2.5 million people chased from their homes in Darfur face the threat of starvation, disease, and rape, while the few lucky enough to remain in their homes risk displacement, torture and murder. Help mobilize the world to action and also provide relief to the dire humanitarian crisis.
Stop Malaria by 2012
One million children needlessly die every year from malaria, but a simple mosquito net could save their lives. Donate bed nets and you'll save a child's life.
Give Clean Water
Millions of people die from disease every year because they do not have access to life's most essential resource, clean water. Give the gift of life, and help provide safe drinking water.
Feed the Poor
More than 850 Million people go hungry everyday due to natural and politically induced famine. With the rise of food prices globally the situation is getting worse. Support the World Food Program's efforts to bring immediate food relief and change political realities.
