Gutensite is now free. You can join our little community even if you don't need everything that the Pro version has to offer. Pretty much everything in the Professional packages is included in the Free Lite version except: email accounts, personal domain names, custom designs and of course customer service. The Free Lite version is also useful for anyone who just wants to take Gutensite out for a test drive. If you like it, it's easy to upgrade to one of the Professional options later.

  2. It will be years before your church session can agree on a color scheme and you need something in the mean time.
  3. You're just starting to look for the right venture capital firm.
  4. You are an up and coming garage band and want more than a single page on myspace.
  5. You only want to to feature your girlfriend, your german shepherd and your reenactment of the historic Battle of Roanoke and who needs customer service for that?
  
  1. You just signed on thirty new clients and don't have time to manage your own site.
  2. You want an email address that ends with something more professional than "yahoo".
  3. You want a web address for your site that doesn't include our name.
  4. You want a site that showcases your product and none of our free designs say "sexy ski wear".
  5. Your company name is Adelphos Alexander Demosthenes Investment Group and it won't actually fit in any of the free designs.

Free Lite Benefits

If you don't want to pay a penny, the Free Lite Version is what you are looking for. Your site will be built and managed with our excellent CMS (Content Management System), with most of the features that Professional Version enjoy. You will have free hosting, and you may use any of our Free Design Skins. What you don't get is a custom design, private hosting (which means you don't have your own domain name or email accounts), or free customer support (but you can use our community forums once they launch, and our help tools and tutorials).

But the good news is, you don't pay a thing for the initial setup or ongoing monthly costs, because we are offering our CMS for free as a way to promote our product and services. We hope professional organizations will try us out for free, and then like us so much that they'll upgrade to the Professional Version, or at the very least recommend us to a friend. And we just hope everyone else is empowered to go do something great online.

Maybe you need to go pro?

The Free Lite Version is nice, but it just isn't going to be enough for most professional organizations, no matter your size. You need a domain name, you need professional email hosting, and chances are, you need our support. But try our Free Lite version out, and then when you are ready you can upgrade easily.
